Mi Corazon is a series I started after the passing of my Grandmother Elsa. It was an idea based on the image seen above, the fly heart. My grandma always told me to keep drawing and keep drawing and never give up. never give up or change what you believe in. When she passed times got a little dark but it the instant I found out she was gone I painted the small canvas you see at the top of the screen and the rest is history. My grandma was gone and in mind she ascended to a greater sense of being but in that instant a small piece of me went with her. A small piece of my heart…
